Don't worry, years ago I was working in England and did a programme of work in our Scottish office. I was amazed to be gived a dressing down for not being in work one Monday which I knew to be a bank holiday. It did not cross my mind that there would not be shared holidays. Turns out that I didn't work in a bank so bank holidays did not translate

Bilboburgler - I'm actually glad to have been informed on this forum rather than waiting until I got to Scotland to find out. My assumption of a shared Bank Holiday might not have gone down well!
