Reutlingen Bahnhof to Gare de Lyon?

What route does one take to get from Reutlingen Bahnhof in Germany to Gare de Lyon in France with a Eurail Pass for these countries? I want to ensure that i use a train that i covered with this pass.
If a reservation is neccasary, how soon does it need to be made before the day?
I plan to arrive on the afternoon of July 1st.

If you go to bahn.de you will find info on the available trains. The fastest seems to be abuot 4.5 hous with 1 change and they don;t go into Gare de Lyons at all. They go to Gare de 'Est or Gare du Nord. So it looks like you will have to change stations in Paris - or go from one of these staions to your final destiantion.

Trains into Gare de Lyons do not come from this direction.

Ok and will these trains be covered by the Eurail Pass?

Why would they not be covered? (I have no idea how eurail pass works - have never used a pass and usually do road trips.)

Oh i don't know, they sometimes have weird rules about things..like the over night trains aren't covered.

Well I would definitely check this out before buying any sort of Pass. I do know that buying point to point tickets is often much cheaper than a pass unless you are doing a LOT of trips by train.
