Returned from quick trip to Paris - trip report
Spent 3 days in Paris this past weekend. Aside from the trip from he** home, it was fabulous! Absolutely wonderful. Paris had bright blue skies, sun, and as always, it was Paris. My soul feels renewed and refreshed.

Left from Boston on Friday afternoon, returned home yesterday evening (28 hours to get home courtesy of United Airlines!). Went to Notre Dame to hear mass (really to hear the singing and organ music since I'm not Catholic), went to Ste. Chapelle to see the sun streaming in through the windows, had fabulous meals! L'Angle was wonderful - a little pricey, but well worth it. Also had dinner at Pas de Das (great pizza) in the 8thand the Cafe Musee near the Picasso Museum after walking through the Marais. Walked through Ile St. Louis on Sunday afternoon when everybody was out and about, took a cooking class at Le Cordon Bleu which was VERY enjoyable (38 euros per person), and saw a couple of rooms at the Louvre as well as the new pastels at the d'Orsay.

Stayed at Muguet which I enjoyed quite a bit. Small room, but clean, safe, nice, charming and very inexpensive (over 3 days was only in the hotel for a total of 12 hours).

Fabulous trip. If anybody wants any details about anything, please email me.
