Anyone have any great resturants suggestions for the South of France?

I had a great dinner at Chantecler in the Hotel Negresco a few years back in Nice. Expensive, but a great experience!

Try "La Chaumiere", Rue D'Observatoire, 9 miles outside of Nice. Unbelievable food grilled in the main dining room's fireplace, along with a huge provencal wicker basketful of fresh vegetables and sauces. You have to make reservations in advance though, and if you don't call when you first arrive in NIce, you will lose your reservation. This has been one of the best dining experiences we've had-anywhere! Bon Chance!
