Restaurants - Prague

Celebrating my 50.th anniversary, I have invited my closest friends to Prague in September. I live in Denmark, and am looking very much forward to revisit this beautiful town. Does anyone know a special good, inexpensive restaurant in Prague, - not too overcrowded with tourists?

Good evening. Lilian
It has been at least 15 year since I was last in Prague, but the Grill Room of the Intercontential
Hotel sticks in my mind, it is a bright open place with excellant service and good food and the price was reasonable in those days. Don't know if things
have changed, but this would be my recommendation.
Richard of Hickory Hills, IL....

I'm living in Prague and have been here for about five years. The city has changed a lot since '89 and -- thankfully -- has many very good restaurants. It's hard to choose a dream place for your special occasion, but a couple possibilities might be Zlata Hruska on Novy Svet near the castle, Palac Palffy in MaLa Strana, Kampa Park in Mala Strana, The Circle Line in Mala Strana. All differ in terms of mood and clientele, but all have great food. Dinner will set you back about $30-40 a person. Hope this helps.
