Restaurants open late in Paris

My family will be arriving at CDG after 9:00 pm on a Saturday this coming summer. We probably won't get to our apartment in the 7th eme until 11:00pm or after.

Will any restaurants nearby be open this late at night? Or is there anything quick available at the airport? Thanks for your help. Laurie

You will be able to find brasseries and the like open into the later hours anywhere on the grands boulevards like Boulevard St. Michel, Boulevard St. Germain, etc.

If you have a hotel already lined up (advisable) I would correspond w/them via email. Most hotels willingly recommend establishments and will make the reservation for you in advance. Bon appetit!

Oops. Sorry, in above post I forgot you said "apartment", not hotel. Personally, for a change I like the chain "Leon de Bruxelles", brasseries which specialize in mussels -moules- prepared every conceivable way. You can find them on the net at Leon de Bruxelles Paris or cityvox I believe. I know they are open til 1:00am or so. Their site should have maps of their locations along w/menus. Good luck.

The well known "Au pied de couchon" is opened 24hours a day.

- Au Pied de Cochon in les halles area is open 24/24. Do *not* go around in this area at nights, go straight in taxi back and forth.

- Vaguedende, on Boulevard Saint Germain, is the closest brasserie to your appart open late. It would be wise to reserve a table, since Saturday night is the busiest of the week.

- La Coupole, on Vavin - Bd. Montparnasse, is open till 3AM and you do not need a reservation.

- Do you arrive at CDG2 or CDG1 ? Terminal 2 has some McDonalds etc open

Thank you for your suggestions, Carol, Theresa and Patrick1. We will try to make reservations somewhere, hopefully someplace easy to find since this is our first time to Paris and we don't know our way around.

I looked at my airline tickets but I can't tell which CDG terminal we will fly into. We are flying from London on British Midland.
How long does it usually take to get through customs at CDG? Thanks again for your help. Laurie

Patrick1. Could you please give me an address for Vaguedende? And a phone no. if you have one? I looked for this restaurant on the web, but I could not find anything about it. What are the prices like? Thanks for the help! Laurie

Laurie
>Could you please give me an address for Vaguedende? And a phone no. <

Hi Laurie,
You can look them up at http://www.voila.fr/PJ/

You can also look up your apartment address and get a map of the area. From that you can look up cafes, etc in the neighborhood.
