Restaurants in Sicily, Italy

We'll be in Sicily for a month visiting:
Palermo
Stromboli
Taomira
Syracuse
Piazza Armerina
Agrigento

Any restaurants you could recommend for any of these places would be greatly appreciated.

Agrigento: La Corte degli Sfizi up from Atenea.(main road)

Taormina: La Bougainville in Via Bagnoli Croci, 88 has an excellent menu turistico (wine not included but only 27,000 with wine and water)

In Palermo, Ristorante Sant'Andrea, just off of San Domenico Square on Via Roma.

Having lived in Sicily for 3 years, I can say without hesitation that ALL the food is delicious--ristorantes, trattorias, and "bars". Some of the best pasteries and sandwiches are in the "bars", which serve coffee, tea, and food as well as liquors. There are 2 prices in the "bars"--one for standing up and another for sitting down.

Hi there
Have a great time. Sicily is wonderful. We followed GAC's advice on most things there, including St Andrea restaurant in Palermo. His advice was extremely helpful, and I would like to thank him for his valuable insights into everything from local buses to the best hotels. Thank's GAC. As someone else once said on this site, you are awesome!!

Taormina:
Trattoria da Nino, Via Luigi Pirandello, 37A. They have a nice view of the sea if your table is facing the window. It was our best meal in Taormina. I had linguini with clam sauce, house wine, insalata and chicken cacciatore. Everything was delicious.

I enjoyed a restaurant called 'A Cuccagna, especially for their seafood and pasta dishes with seafood. We paid less than 40 Euro per person for a full meal with dessert and a bottle of wine. The restaurant is located about one block from the Grand Hotel et des Palmes.

To Roger who e-mailed me for my restaurant file - I've tried to e-mail you twice but hotmail keeps returning the e-mail. Please send me a new address.

And now to Lisa who e-mailed me and delivery of my reply "failed". Both of these attempts were to Hotmail accounts - seems like too much of a coincidence, doesn't it? Any theories out there - perhaps my email address is being interpreted as spam? Anyway - Lisa and Roger - please send alternate e-mails addresses and I'll be happy to resend.
