Restaurants in Paris
Going to Paris in Oct, any suggestions for price fix restaurants
|
Prix-fixe is a standard option at most any restaurant...
What kind of cuisine do you like? How much do you want to spend for a meal, and including any wine? Where are you staying - do you want to dine near your hotel? |
Create a memory: Treat yourself to Le Grand Véfour for lunch. In the 1er, backside of Palais Royal garden. ~€75.
|
Le Grand Cafe. Check it out at www.legrandcafe.com.

nimrod,75euros for lunch? Could make a joke about that sign on name. Totally kidding. I just can't afford 75 euros for lunch.
|
You only live once -- besides it's a bargain. She asked for a place with prix fixe in Paris; I gave a suggestion.
Fire away with the jokes. :) |
I was only joking nimrod. Am I the first person to take a poke at that name :)?
I actually looked up reviews on your suggestion and remembered it was at the very top of a wish list of mine on a trip that I meant to take but switched to Italy a few years ago. Great memory I have! http://www.relaischateaux.com/vefour It absolutely deserves a look up and a visit if you can afford. http://www.theworldwidegourmet.com/r...ris/vefour.htm |

Try this restaurant:
Cave de l'Os à Moelle - tel 01-45-57 27 27 3, rue Vasco de Gama, 15th. Metro Lourmel Closed Sunday & possibly Monday Wonderful food. 2 seatings per night. Reservations required. A 5-course meal for a very reasonable price (around 30 Euros - reasonable for Paris those days), but limited selection per course. Menu changes daily. You can read reviews and recommendations about this place on the net. Here is one of them: http://www.frommers.com/destinations/paris/D48228.html |
The Astier, 44 rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, good classic French food with an out-of-this-world cheese course and always jammed, mostly with French people who come from all over the city. Prix-fixe is all there is, with several choices for each course. I believe it's now 29 euros. Reserve. tel: 01 43 57 16 35

All the restaurants in Paris have Pri-Fix menus.Just ask but we found that some of the choices were better without Pri-fix.Tour D argent is great for lunch with a very nice view,Jules verne-eiffel tower-great for lunch.Guy savoy-great restaurant,Le Cinq,These twoare very expensive but great. Eoy as most of the restaurants are great in Paris |
How much do you want to spend for a prix-fixe meal, and is it for lunch or dinner? There are many, many possibilities at all price levels.
