Hi, yestravel. He means that the "vingt" (20) is a play on words. L'Ange 20 (pronounced exactly like l'Angevin) is a reference to the empire of the Anjou area which started the 100 Years War. I haven't eaten there so can't comment on whether the cuisine is typical of Anjou or not.

I agree that the rue Ste-Dominique is chock full of good restaurants. We are particularly fond of La Fontaine de Mars.

Also in the area are Le Florimond, l'Auberge Bressanne, and Le Bistro de Bretheuil.

For a relaxed budget meal, I like Chez Marianne on rue des Rosiers. Near Eastern (called "oriental" in French) variety plates of 4, 5 or 6 items that you select from the menu.
