I'm sure the board is sick of me, I keep posting questions. But you guys are so helpful and it really beats thumbing through some antiquated tour guide book. So I'm going on my honeymoon and will stay in Venice 3 nights, Rome 3 nights and Amalfi coast (Ravello) 6 nights. Any favorite restaurants?

Molly,
A couple of my faves in Rome were "La Bucca di Ripetta" at 36 via di Ripetta, near Piazza del Popolo. Only open Tues-Sat for dinner & Sunday from noon-3pm.

Another near Piazza di Spagna was "Nino" on via Borgognona.

Buon Viaggio & Buon Appetito,
BC

Molly, read the thread called "The rain in Venice." Capo, a regular, is posting while on vacation with his girlfriend in Venice, Rome and some small towns. It's a great first-person, current trip report (the best kind) and he offers restaurants, bars, walks, photo ops, etc. You'll love it!

Molly-- For restaurants, Cumpa' Cosimo in Ravello is everything good you have heard
about it. In Praiano, La Brace is a great find--informal, extensive menu, good
food--although it doesn't look like much from the outside. It's right on the main
road, up a flight of stairs.
