Restaurants in Greenwich??

We're going to Greenwich for the morning /day. Just wondering where a good place for lunch would be. Thanks.

Lots of pubs do lunches, or there's Goddard's pie and mash shop which is close to Cutty Sark station (Docklands Railway). A pie with mashed potato and gravy or liquor is £1.90, and they also do eels, a vegetarian pie and desserts. There are not many places left where you can get traditional London dishes like this.

There used to be a noodle shop also just up from Cutty Sark on the right. For us it was different and fun.

We had a nice Sunday lunch last summer at a pub called (I believe) The Gipsy, across the street and down a bit from Goddard's. A nice mix of traditional and not so traditional items, well-prepared. The biggest draw is the courtyard/garden, where you can take a break from the crowds and enjoy your meal at your leisure.
