restaurants in eze

I am planning to be in Eze in September and I'm considering dinner at La Chevre d'Or or at Chateau Eza. If anyone has eaten at either of these restaurants, I'd appreciate your feedback.
Thanks

Yes, we've eaten at both. Overall I'd give Chevre d'Or the nod. It's more upscale, more modern (but in a refined traditional way if that makes any sense)and the food is superior IMO. Chateau Eza has one super thing going for it however--a balcony that permits only one tightly squeezed table but with fantastic views over the water and the twinkling lights on the hills down to the water. That's only one table, however, so you either book that (and hope the weather is good) or go to Chevre d'Or for my money. At Chevre be sure to stop for a drink first in the bar with the views over the pool and the water. Special, really special.

Thanks so much Julie. I found your comments to be very helpful. Think I'll go with Chevre d'Or.

Both have great views and the DOr always is the favorite. At the highest point in the village is a jardin Exotique.

Another vote for Chevre d'Or.
