Restaurant suggestions, please, for Co. Wicklow, Bray area...

I would like to take my hosts to dinner during my stay in late April. Any suggestions? Budget is not an issue.

Killiney Castle is only a 10 minute drive from Bray and I would be happy to return there anytime.

Buzz,

Here's a couple can't-miss recommendations, especially if your wallet can afford go shed a few Euro:

The Strawberry Tree is located in Macreddin Village, part of The Brook Lodge Inn. For more information, go to www.brooklodge.com

In Bray, do consider The Tree of Idleness, located on the Sea Front.

The latter entry is a longstanding dining favorite and has what is considered by many to be Eire's best wine list.

Best of luck.

The Hungry Monk in Greystones is well worth a visit. I'd second The Strawberry Tree too - it's very good!
There's also a lovely Italian restaurant in Ashford village (just a few miles outside Wicklow town), it's in Chester Beatties. The restaurant in the Glenview hotel in Glen of the Downes is lovely and has gorgeous views if you can get a table by the window. The Bakery in Wicklow town is also lovely. I've eaten in all of the restaurants a number of times (I'm from Wicklow!!) but out of all of them, I'd choose The Hungry Monk.

Thank you all for your suggestions. We did have a lovely dinner at The Hungry Monk. My only complaint is that it was very noisy; but the food was wonderful.

the straw berry tree in mcreddin village is very different.the ceiling is like a mirrow that moved and the decor is out of loulin rouge.
I was there last week when I stayed in brooklodge.all organic foods.nettle soup dtarter adn even organic wines.
I would recommend it as it is not a normal restaurant.
