Another vote for the outdoor terrace restaurant at the Hotel Florence. While guests are given priority for the best tables (understandably so), there aren't any "bad" tables. Food is excellent, I thought the restaurant was definitely superior to Bilacus. Reservations a must.

go to VECCHIA VARENNA it is the best restaurant in this area.

(www.vecchiavarenna.it). Closed on Monday; price 55 - 55 euro.

We were blown away by Bilicus in Bellagio. Delicious food and charming atmosphere.
