restaurant rec's for Levanto and Camogli?

We will be heading to Italy for a honeymoon in July and will be spending some time in both Levanto and Camogli. Does anyone have any fond memories of good restaurants in either town? Thanks in advance....

If you do a search of Fodor's for Camogli, this has come up several times.

The best restaurant in Camolgi is Da Paolo. Vento Ariel is also very good. La Primula is good for cocktails, gelato and coffee. There is another gelateria opposite La Rotunda that is highly recommended. Drinks on the terrazzo at Cennobio al Doge to watch the sunset are memorable.

PS: Rosa's is also very good, and so is the view. I think it is walkable, but some people prefer to take a taxi.

We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel "Cenobio dei Dogi", located on a nice property with beautiful views. You certainly picked a wonderful spot to honeymoon. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Another vote for da Paolo. We had a terrific meal for Sunday pranzo surrounded by Italians..we were the only ones there not Italian.

As I recall the seafood antipasto was to kill for as well as the primi and secondi dishes.

It is located on Via S. Fortunato 14 T 0185 773595.

Thanks for the suggestions. I doubt we will have a bad meal wherever we end up, but I appreciate hearing from those that have had good experiences!
