Restaurant Recos Syracuse Modica Agrigento

Jump to last reply

We are going to be in Sicily for the last half of May. I've done my planning, but trying to nail down some restaurant picks for Syracuse, Modica, Agrigento and Piazza Armerina.

We like to have a few fine dining meals, mostly mid-range good food, not fancy but decent places, and a few good pizza nights. We love seafood. Didn't like getting charged €50 for a fish (just the fish) which was the proprietor's recommendation.

We don't mind going out of the tourist core areas.

Anyone have any more recent restaurant experiences in these towns? Any fine dining experiences which were worth the investment? Any particularly good dishes?
