For a really useful guide to where to eat out in Warwickshire, try the Warwickshire Tourist Guide at www.warwickshiretouristguide.com

They list the restaurants and eating out places by town or by cuisine, al fresco dining, waterside pubs and restaurants, country inns, cafes and tea rooms.

I can also vouch for the Howard Arms Ilmington, Warwickshire.

Stow-on-the-Wold: I think we ate at the Queen's Head pub located right in the town square. I had the best chicken pot pie there.

I am staying at the Howard Arms for 2 nights after my cruise on the QE2 Sept. 23 and 24 and touring around the Cotswolds. I'll let you know - but good friends in that area highly recommended it.
