Restaurant recommendation between Nice and Monaco
 

We'll be staying in Cote D'Azur next month and we plan to meet a friend who will be coincidentally vacationing there at the same time. We leave the day after she arrives so we plan to meet for dinner. We will have a car, she does not but our goal is to find some place nice on the water to have dinner on our last night in Europe. We'll be staying in Nice and she's staying in an apartment outside Monaco. We'd love someplace really nice --like Chevre d'Or but that's just over the top pricey. We all love Mediterrean cuisine. I'm just having a hard time finding nice restaurants because of the word "nice". We all know what happens when we search for the destination "Nice" even when you're searching under France. It rarely refers to the destination Nice.

Hopefully someone can help us narrow down our search. Quite simply, just a nice place on the water in any town between Nice and Monaco.

Try Villefranche. A lot of good restaurants in this beautiful town which are situated on the bay. A very picturesque town worthy of a visit

La Reserve de Beaulieu has a lovely outdoor dining terrace overlooking the sea

La Voilr D'or at Cap Ferrat also has lovely outdoor dining terrace facing the sea.

Along the port at Cap Ferrat there are quite a few terraced restaurants at more resonable prices, our favorite is The Sloop.

We stayed at Les Deux Freres in Roquebrune last March. The view down the coast is amazing. They have a very nice restaurant with a patio. That is a little further away but I feel that the drive is worth it.

A foodie friend of mine who did a major tour based on restaurants really, really liked Jerome's in La Turbie. So you could give that a try.
