Sorry, I forgot to say that it's the Four Seasons in Prague.

It's just off of Pariz (if that's the correct spelling) St which is the equivalent of Bond St. and has a restaurant called Pravda specialising in upmarket versions of Czech cuisine. It's very reasonable, and worth a try.

How near?
Restaurant David is wonderful but it's in Mala Strana, about a 15 minute walk.

Thanks guys. the reason I would like a restaurant near the hotel is because we'll be arriving quite late, around 9.30pm

The hotel has a wonderful (and expensive) resstaurant called Allegro. It has a varied menu, not especially Czech, though their apple strudel is to die for.

About a 10 minute walk away is Clementinum, at Platnerska 9.
This is quite near the Charles Bridge, in Old Town, a little bistro with soothing, classic rock playing on the sound system. In terms of space use it’s as much a bar as a café, décor is modern and casual. Many choices of wines and beers. Food is good, not memorable, but good.
www.clementinum-restaurant.cz open daily from 11 to 11.
