Restaurant Le Consulat

I walk past an art shop every day that has a print of Restaurant le Consulat in the window. I've also seen it in movies. We're finally going, and I'm wondering, is it a good place to eat or just photogenic? And roughly how much! Thanks in advance!

SORRY I should have added Paris!

You folks are so wonderfully helpful, I apologize, first time!

Well, since it didn't show up in any of the usual French restaurant review sites (Oubouffer, Restoaparis, etc..) I'm going to guess that it isn't fine dining. But maybe you would enjoy a lunch there without risking much.

Isn't this the restaurant that you see just down the hill from Montmarte?

It's on rue Norvins... one of the 'postcard' buildings you see often. Rue Norvins runs into place de la Tertre from the western side.

We had lunch there. Food below average but not expensive. Sit outside for drinks and photos, but don't count on the cuisine.
