Restaurant ideas for 50th in Sorrento
 

Hi everyone. I will be staying in Sorrento for a week in May 2018 for my 50th birthday. I am expecting roughly 20 people to join me for my birthday dinner. Ideally, I would love to have my birthday overlooking the water.

I am considering either Sorrento or Capri (but would need to look into ferry timetables if it was Capri), or anywhere around that area (depending on ease of accessibility).

Can anyone suggest a suitable venue that could accommodate our numbers, be overlooking the water, and have a middle of the road price range, that accommodates a variety of food (not too much to ask for really!?!)

Any suggestions much appreciated.

You might care to check out Delfino in Marina Grande, Sorrento. It's quite a spacious place and is well geared up for tourist business - and literally out on the water.
Have only dined there once but it gets generally very favourable reviews.

I am pretty sure that dinner on Capri is out - the ferries do not run late, so unless you want to change it to lunch, I just consider options in or near Sorrento.

Delfino is beautiful and has amazing seafood. Check to see if they have other options but we chose it for the seafood.

The last ferry is around 6 or 7 pm so Capri is out.

I like the La Pergola terrace at the Bellevue Syrene, but they have a few other options also. Scroll down to the pics.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to reply. It looks like Capri is out due to the ferries, so I will check out Delfino and the Bellevue Syrene as per your recommendations.

We've always enjoyed Caruso's restaurant in Sorrento. The food is excellent.
