Restaurant for large group in Paris

We will be in Paris with our two kids and my Mom and Dad. My BIL and SIL will be there at the same time with their kids. We would like to have dinner together atleast twice. Any recommendations on a restaurant that could accomodate a table of 11? While there will be kids, we are all foodies, incl. our kids, so it doesn't have to be super kid friendly, but obviously doesn't have to be romantic either. We will be staying in apartments in the 6th.

I would definitely go to one of the Flo restaurants. www.flobrasseries.com

Haven't eaten there myself, but if memory serves, Au Pied du Cochon should be able to accomodate your group (and be an interesting experience, as well).

Sorry, don't know if they have a web site.

Bofinger (which is one of the Flo restaurants) would be a great choice.

I posted a similar question a couple of years ago and got some good answers. See it here: http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessa...en_name=Betty1

We did have dinner at Le Bouillon Racine and enjoyed that.

Chez Flottes, rue Cambon, is across the street from the Concord metro, has great sandwiches (Croques) and a few kid menu items. Reasonable prices as well. Check out their web site, www.flottes.fr.

I second Bofinger & Au Pied de Cochon (although I Bofinger gets a higher rating in my book for the beautiful dome plus the area of the dome is nonsmoking for the kids).

I'll also offer up Le Train Bleu where we had a get together of 12 people at the "Nikita" tables. Gorgeous setting!
