Everything seems to be overpriced b/c you pay for location. Santa Chiara and Due Torri which are mentioned often here are over E200 and they don't seem amazing either. If anyone has been to Residenza Farnese, I'm wondering (1) how worn the rooms are (2) how clean and modern the bathrooms are(3) how far it is from the heart of Campo dei Fiori and P. Navonna and (4) is the location safe at night? Thanks in advance!

We were there in May, 2002.
I thought the bedrooms were very clean and not luxurious but well appointed. The bathrooms were small, modern and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not gourmet, but certainly generous and adequate.
It is on a one way street about three minutes walk from the Campo dei Fiori. And as I remember, about a 12 minute walk from the Piazza Navona.
Also, the Piazza Farnese has lots of cafes. We felt very safe as there are always lots of people, but because it is on a one way street, we didn't have a problem with outside noise. Our room faced the back of the hotel.
Hope this helps.
