Residential neighborhoods in Prague?
I will be in Prague the first week of May. When I visit a city, I like to stroll through residential neighborhoods and look at private homes and flats. Rather than massive apartment blocks, I especially like the big old 3- or 4-storey buildings that were probably once private homes, separated from each other on a leafy block by a bit of space and greenery. Can anyone suggest some neighborhoods in Prague for my walks?

“Leafy Vinohrady is a trendy residential neighborhood dotted with pastel-colored art deco buildings populated by expats and young professionals. It's known for its global eateries, hip cafes and gay nightclubs, as well as Riegrovy Sady park.”
i stayed in Vinohrady for several days. A very nice area, it can be reached by metro or a 30-40 min walk from central Prague. |

I stay in the Dejvicka area when in the city and there are many such building as you describe in that area,my best friend in Prague lives in such a building. |
Vinohrady area is full of apartments and Dejvice area has nice houses in Embassy Area (Slavickova and Na Zatorce streets) but just on 2 streets. You should visit Stresovice district, which called local Beverly Hills, here you will see very nice houses, max 3-4 floors and you will find the neighbourhood is very calm and quite.
