FYI,
I called 011 39 0415209070 this morning
to reserve this tour for the end of September, and was politely told that I should call back after August 15 to make a reservation. Does anyone know how far in
advance you can make reservations for the Uffizi and Accademia? Thanks.

I reserved Doges Palace Secret Itinerary Tour, Accademia and Uffizi about six weeks in advance with no problems. I'm not sure if you can reserve any of them earlier, though.

Uma, I just reserved the Accademia this past Monday for Sept 21, so they will do it further ahead. Recently, there have been several threads here about people waiting until a month before their trip and not being able to get a reservation for the Uffizi. Although this was for very busy summer months, Sept can be pretty busy as well, so I wouldn't wait. Hope this helps.

I made reservations at Accademia and Uffizi for September 20th, 2005 this past Tuesday - English speaking operator will set up reservations for both; she asked me which date, preferred time, and then issued me two confirmation numbers (you pay for tickets at pick-up and go to "Reserved" door (don't stand in line)- telephone number is 1016868 011 39055294883 - call about 10 cents per minute.

Tried calling Doge Palace and got the same message as you did, so will try again one month prior to preferred reservation date. Hope this helps.
