Maitai is correct in saying you can take an elevator both directions on the Passion side -- here's the information from the official web-site.

"Maitai is correct "

words never before seen in print...

Have a great trip. Don't miss Palau de la Música Catalana and Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, in my opinion the two best attractions in Barcelona.

@ Maitaitom -- Interesting that the ONE time that has EVER happened is just after you also said the opposite thing. ;-)

Was there yesterday, and it worked as noted above. Also interesting that they seem to allow entrance 15 minutes before the reserved time, both to the church itself and to the tower.

Dear NeoPatrick,
First of all I want to apologize. It was not my intention to offend anyone but to give an information that I considered valuable since a lot of people visiting Barcelona is interested in Flamenco (70% according to Barcelona Tourism).

Before doing it, I red your profile to see your interests and I saw: "Travel and Theatre in equal proportions and often together".

This is not an excuse, please accept my apologies for any distress I may have caused. I tried to send you a private email but I did not see the way to do it. I did not mean to be unrespectful in any way. I am sorry.

Fair enough, JVH007. I may tend to be a little overly sensitive to all the people who register here mainly to advertise when it is strictly forbidden to do so. I suppose dozens of people could have added hotels, restaurants, activities, car services, and all sorts of other businesses they own in Barcelona, and they'd all feel it was valuable information for anyone going to Barcelona, but that would defeat the entire purpose of this forum.
