Reservations thru Slowtrav
 

Greetings - a bit more than three weeks to departure to Tuscany and I've just made reservations through Slowtrav's Venere site and received confirmations. I was wondering if anyone else had done this and if they needed to confirm those reservations before departure or if they had any difficulties with reservations through this site. I'm staying at Desiree in Florence in anyone has info on that as well. Many thanks.

That is just a click-thru from Slowtrav. Venere.com is a large and reliable company and you should be fine if you have the confirmations.

Venere is a reputable firm, and I have used them in the past.

I always contact the hotel and ask for a confirmation from them.

Thanks all - I do have e-mail confirmation from the hotel and assume I shouldn't have to confirm before departure since it's not that far away. I've had trouble, Betsy, getting anything on the website - it's my computer - it's being contrary telling me it's "done" with a blank screen but I'll keep trying. Thanks again.
