Tous au restaurant runs from September 18th through October 1st. Participating restaurants, and there are some very famous addresses included, offer complete meals (3 courses) at 2 diners for the price of 1. It´s a rare opportunity to try some of the best tables in France at very attractive prices.

If you are in France during this period, reserve early as reservations go fast and some of the participants include a number of Michelin starred restaurants.

Most people are left out in the cold for this kind of event.
I know - I've tried for several years.

At 10am the site was already mentioning "We are currently experiencing heavy traffic and are unable to serve all visitors.
Please try again in a short while!
Many thanks for your patience, we hope you enjoy best tables!" and 2 hours later they say that it won't be accessible before 4pm. :(

The servers were closed due to heavy traffic and were set to reopen at 16h00. I was not able to check until 20h00 but many reservations were already taken.

This year´s list of restaurants did not include many of the great tables which had been included in years past. I found the list for Paris very limited and the overall quality rather average. La Criée and Hippopotamus are OK places but all considered, they don´t offer much that you couldn´t do at home yourself.

I don´t know what happen this year but I was underwhelmed.

Nothing interesting in Dijon either...

Ducasse has apparently lost interest.
It's important to realize that most restaurants are not in Paris, but in the countryside.
