You don't need to reserve this so far ahead. If you have more than one day in Venice, just go to St. Marks and ask to buy these in advance. I went with a big group of kids and adults in the height of the summer and was able to do this.

Visit www.alata.it to make a free reservation for St. Mark's. I was able to make a reservation for the three of us for next week. Follow the prompts and print out your confirmation. I'll let you know how it turns out for us when we return in July!

We made a reservation for St. Mark's Basilica and got to go in at the front of the line. However, there isn't a sign that tells you where to go if you have a reservation. We just ended up going up to the guard at the front of the door and showing him our reservation. By doing that we by-passed half an hour (or more) worth of waiting.
I don't have the number for the Secret Itineraries Tour, but someone posted it on this board before. When you go for your appt., do give yourself at least 20 mins. for the lines. You first have tell the Information Desk person that you're there for the tour so he/she can check you in. Then you get in line to buy the ticket (which is where you might have to wait a while depending on the crowd).
