RER B strike continues in Paris
Today is the second day of the strike on the RER B inside Paris, and the unions have announced that the strike will continue tomorrow (November 11th) as well. The strike can be renewed every day, one day at a time.
The RER B is operating on reduced service south of Denfert-Rochereau and north of Gare du Nord. To compensate the lack of RER service inside Paris, the RATP has increased service on metro lines 4 and 6. |
Striking on armistice day is a fitting way to remember the sacrifices of europe's finest.
|
As the strikers said, "Why should we stop striking if our demands are not respected?"
Actually, strikes on isolated holidays are considered a lot less annoying than strikes on working days. |
As it turned out the RER B is running at 75% in Paris today, although a change of trains is still required at Gare du Nord.

The strike continues south of Gare du Nord -- service is only 50% until further notice...
