Reputable car rentals in Dublin

We will be in Ireland foe a week in May. We have heard horror stories about different car rental agencies. Have you had any positive experiences in this?

Dan Dooley worked very well for us on 2 different trips. We will definitely use them again.

We have used Hertz on our two trips to Ireland. No problems with either rental.

I had a bad experience with Hertz although it was back in '03. Until things change I will stay with Dan Dooley.

I have used Dan Dooley - no surprise charges (they guarantee this), easy in, easy out. They are great. I've used Enterprise, Budget and Europcar in the past. I much prefer Dan Dooley.

Oh, and Michele at www.irelandyes.com has a great, informative thread at the top of her forums on this issue - the ins and outs, the options, the pitfalls, etc.

Thanks everyone. I went with Dooley. It was easy, economical and includes insurance coverage. Debi

Good choice, we used them for our last two trips.

I would like to add that we have been seeing older cars in their fleets in the last few years due to the economy. The up side of that is that they won't notice a couple more scratches on the sides of the cars from the hedges.
