Renting villa near Bettona 2014
 

Are day trips to the neaby towns easily done? How far are Florence and Rome? I will have a car and plan to drive to those destinations.

There are many wonderful nearby towns to visit. Do you have a guidebook and map for Umbria?

Bettona to Rome is around 100 miles. To Florence is around 105 miles.

I've always found day trips to nearby towns in the area to be very easy done.

There are a dozen good places to visit within an hour---you do not want to drive in Florence or Rome.
