Renting Apartments--Rome

My wife and I are planning a week--ten days in Rome, probably in the fall. I am considering renting an apartment. Any experiences?

yes, we have used
www.italian-itineraries.com twice.

If you do some searching here, you will come up with many past threads with info.
Go to the small box
"Search This Forum" and type something in such as
apartments in Rome
or
Rentals in rome
or Rome apartments.

We have used both hotels and apartments. I enjoy both .

I got advice right here and i cannot say enough about the experience. I will never do it any other way! I stayed at Pallazzo Olivia Apartments in the Piazza Navona area.I highly reccommend.

Check out www.italyby.com for apartment rentals in Rome. I used this site for rentals in Stigliano (Tuscany) and Florence and was thrilled with both!

Our daughter, who is studying in Rome, found a nice-looking apartment for us when we visit in March on the Piazza Navona called Casa Navona for a very reasonable rate. The apartment was cheaper than nearby hotels, and is a 3 minute walk from the Pantheon in the center of Ancient Rome. Will respond more after our trip. Linda
