Has anyone ever rented an apartment in Venice or Rome for the duration of their vacation?
We are staying in the Cannaregio section of Venice. Any recommendations for restaurants or must sees?

You need to go to the Europe forum. There are dozens and dozens of threads about apartment rentals in both those cities. Many of us have done them.
Enter "must sees in Rome" or "restaurants in Venice" for example and you will find specific suggestions regarding those topics, many of them very recent.

Hmmm. Interesting. Did the editors move this thread from the US board along with my comment? I know it was on the US board when I posted, but now it is clearly on the Europe one. I've never known the editors to do that -- a new touch?
