Renting a seacoast villa.

Would love to rent a villa overlooking the Mediterranean. Anyone have any ideas?
Is it hard to find a weekly rental for 2 people?

It would help if you could narrow this down to a country; or even a group of countries
Carol, It is not hard at all--there are
many but it all depends on WHEN, WHERE,
HOW MUCH, HOW LONG. Contact me directly
if you want to get serious in turning
your fantasy into a practical reality.
I would suggest either the Italy coast
near the Cinque Terre or the French
Riviera--do you speak either language.

If you can narrow down some of the options, we all can give you help on getting your fantasy rental (thanks, Bob, that's EXACTLY what our vacation on Naxos was!)

Went to Cinque Terre last year and loved it. French Riviera is too frenetic for us. We're thinking of Portugal or the Amalfi coast. Any suggestions?
Carol, You have answered one question.
Still do not know when and how much.
The Amalfi will be much more expensive
than the Algarve, and the time of year
is key. The Lagos area of the Algarve is
very nice and serene, but Positano is
spectacular and check out the island of
Ischia for a real getaway.
