Rental in London- Good place?

I was wondering if anyone has stayed at this apartment. It is through London Connections and looks very nice. I have only been to London twice and I am not real familiar with the areas but I think I like this one.

It is 1-4 West View Street, and the tube stop close by is Leicester Square. They are asking $206 per night.

Thanks for the help.

Looks like a good location, and my experience with this company was quite good.

post a link to the flat - it is hard to know w/o actually looking at the listing/description.

I looked in my A to Z and don't see a West View anywhere near Leicester Sq. Is that he exact street name? What is the postcode?

Could you by any chance mean West Street (minus the 'View')? If so there is West St between Charing Cross Rd and St Martin's Lane -- which is VERY central close to Leicester Sq and Covent Garden.

(precise street names are really important in London -- and post codes are even better. There are MANY identical/similar names in most neighborhoods.

Do you mean this one on the London Connection website:

The location is very good (I've often fantasised about living round there). It would be a squeeze for the three people they claim could use it, and I notice they don't have a photo of the bedroom.

PATRICKLONDON- yes that is the one I was looking at and I too wondered why no picture of the bedroom. The other pictures look really nice. I reallly like the special price as a lot of othe apartments I have looked for are a lot more. My husband and I are going from 3-30 to 4-5 and would rahter have an apartment than a hotel.

I presumed that was the property you meant. If you are concerned, ask for a floor plan and the area (square footage/ square meters.) As a rough guide, each square metrr is about 10 square feet. Keep in mind that things in London tend to be smaller than in the US.
As to the agency, when we were stuck in London behind the volcanic ash cloud last year they were great, took very good care of us. Quite honestly, I'd go for it.

We had a very good experience with London Connections, and a wonderful flat in Kensington, last June--so i would recommend the company.
However, the lack of bedroom and bathroom photo is a bit worrisome.I would not commit without seeing more photos. Many of their flats have both still and 360 degree views on-line, Ask Thomas or Becky or anyone if they can attach additional photos to an email/
