Rental car return at CDG

Can anyone steer me to a site that has a reliable map of CDG including rental car return sites? I can't seem to find what I need from Europcar's site. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!

I haven't used it before, but I'm told that mapquest.com has good maps of all areas. You might also try other rental car agency web sites, also some hotel web sites. I know Best Western shows a map of where their hotels are located in an area, but I don't know how fine the detail is. Or just use your browser or www.google.com and type in "Paris rental car sites" or a similar expression. Good Luck.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that when you drive into the CDG airport, you will see signs saying "Location des Autos" and that means rental car areas. Follow those signs if you don't have a map. And if you want to return a rental car in the city, you can find the city sites in the phone directory. Even if you don't understand French, if you look for the name of the rental agency in the phone directory, you can call them and they'll have someone who speaks English who can help you.

Tess,

There are 3 car rental return areas at CDG. I've included the phone numbers for the Europcar counters at each one in case you want to get detailed directions from them. Calling from France, you don't dial the "011 33" but add the "0" in brackets.

Terminal 1
Tel: 011 33 (0) 1 48 62 33 33

Terminals 2 A, B, C & D
Tel: 011 33 (0) 1 48 62 56 47

Terminal 2 F
Tel: 011 33 (0) 1 48 16 27 68

Follow signs to the terminal you're leaving from, then the "retour voitures de location" (or "voitures de louage" at terminal 1) signs - they might also have a pictogram with a car and a key.

You can get a general overview of the aiport layout at:
www.adp.fr

Bon voyage!
Andre

Beware of the rental car gridlock that we encounter every time we return a car to terminal C at CDG- for Air France! The taxis use the same ramp to get in line for pickups and they back up all the way up the entrance ramp and you can't get down to the return parking lot. Once you get down there it's a piece of cake, very easy, very quick. We have had to resort to driving down the up ramp to drop the car off in time!
Good luck.

CDG has an excellent airport map on line that shows you exactly where everything is.
