Rental car facility in Como

I'm planning on travelling from Asti [Piedmont] to Como in September. I want to turn in my rental car before starting the Bellagio portion of our trip, but am wondering how easy the rental car facilities are to find in Como? I had a horrible time finding one in Orvieto a couple of years ago.
I had considered driving to Malpensa, turning it in there, taking the bus to Milan's train station, and then the train to Varenna for a direct ferry, but that's a lot of steps which could be avoided if I can turn in the car in Como [I haven't found a rental car turn in place in Varenna].
Can anyone help?

Como is not that big of a town. Autoeurope has two drop off locations. The one on Via Innocenzo Xi 34 (a main road in Como) should be very easy to find. I would not go all the way to Malpensa.

we just returned our car to Lecco office of Avis. It was very easy to find the one that was listed with address on our contract, but they had MOVED. still fairly easy to find new one as Lecco is very small. If your rental company has office there, that might be really easy and then easy train to varenna and ferry to bellagio. OR, there are direct ferries from lecco to bellagio, so you have two choices. don't go to malpensa.
when you find out the address of the car rental place, map with via michelin and print out the detailed map.

we returned a Europcar rental to Como. We found their office within just a few minutes.

Other than the address we had absolutely no idea where the rental office was so we did pretty well.

Easy

Can't say it was easy for us. Avis three years ago was hard to find and then Europcar two years ago was also not easy. We have driven all over Italy three times, but found Como confusing, so get good directions.
