Rent a campervan in Europe

Has anyone rented a campervan in Europe? I need some advice, as I found http://www.tour-europe.de. It is run by the owner and they owe nice Westies for a good price. Does anyone have experience with them???

Campervans are not a great deal of use .
They use far more fuel than a car.
The cost more to hire.
Road tolls area lot higher than a car.
They are not s manoeuvrable so you have to choose your roads with care.
Whilst you think you save on hotel cost You still have to pay for camping sites. Free camping is illegal and unsafe in some parts of Europe.

Sorry, no experience with this company. But if all ribeirasacra's observations are true... why do millions of Europeans go camping?

If you have an interest in traveling this way.. pursue it. I have done it and most of the objections offered above are just not true.

You might want to look at these people as well... they don't rent but will resell for you. No personal experience... http://www.dutchcampervans.com
