Renfe. Sevilla to Madrid

I'm trying to order train tickets through the Renfe website. We are now 60 days out from the day that we want to travel by train. Web and Estrella prices do not appear for Oct. 3rd. When I click on the "day before", the budget prices DO show up. Do I just need to keep checking on a daily basis? They will show up eventually, won't they? Thanks for any advice.

Now, I am really confused. I am still checking for web prices for Oct 3rd on a daily basis. Nothing has been showing up. But web prices show up 2 days later, for Oct 5th. Is it possible that there are no web prices for the 3rd? Is there something going on in Spain on Oct 3rd that would make it a busier than usual day for trains?

Thanks for your reply, Lincasanova. I will do what I have to to take the train on that day, but no discounted fares, even Estrella fares, are showing up, darn it all.

seems there is no hurry to get the tickets then unless you are a large group... but i highly doubt any cheap fares will come up on a Sunday, except perhaps early morning first class ones. What I have not been able to decipher is if they ever later load cheaper fares closer to the date. I do know that they used to have some last minute fares 24 hrs in advance on certain routes.

Can u check to see if a ticket to one of the earlier stops does have cheaper fares and buy two separate ticket for same day? Maybe it is the Sevilla-Córdoba daytrippers messing up the early train.
