Renfe question-please help.
I just looked at the Renfe schedule for the AVE from Sevilla to Madrid. According to what they have posted, after Sept. 28, 2002, only one train will do that route leaving at 9:43 arriving Madrid at 12:59. Its not even the AVE. We wanted to spend the morning in Cordoba and have lunch, then go on to Madrid. Does anyone know why there are loads of Daily AVE before Sept. and only 1 a day after. Will they post more later? Thanks to anyone with information.

Hi Mary, I have sent mails to Renfe and they have always promptly replied.

Hi Graziella, I sent one post, and don't know where it went. Anyway, thanks for your answer, but do you mean emails? Also, I hope it can be in english, because my spanish is lousy. What I really hope is that I don't have to send anything and that someone on Fodors can just tell me if thats it for AVE departures after September or that they"ll post more as time goes by. Thanks anyway. If no one can tell me I'll try an english email and see where that gets me.

Mnay parts of the RENFE schedule cover only approximately six-month intervals, and are updated twice a year to drop the "previous" six months and add the "next" six months. I suspect that what you are seeing on the web site is that the Sept 28, 2002 date falls into the "next" interval which has not been fully set up and posted yet. Try checking in later this month or in July.
