RENFE error message during payment
Greetings!
Trying to purchase tickets for AVE train and I keep getting different error messages.
I tried 3 different cards (visa, Visa, and Master card). And I also tried Safari and Chrome on my MacBook. I got two types of messages.
Errors found:
The process cannot continue right now. We apologise for any inconvenience (G001-RS13)
Errors found:
something to the effect that cannot buy using this terminal ....
I purchased tickets from Renfe in 2014. I think I had some troubles then too but I cannot remember how exactly I managed to do it. Just now checking old PDF tickets, I see that I was able to use my main MasterCard which is now not going through.
I called my bank (MasterCard) they said they didn'T see any attempts today to charge my card.
What am I doing incorrectly?
I do not have access to a Window computer *_*, so I cannot try on that.

Found this info : < Visa debit cards have been found to work. If you have problems which you cannot resolve, call Renfe, who can transfer you to an English speaker.
Phone number: (+ 34) 902-109-420 (Hours:7:00-23:00).>
but using Skype takes me nowhere. I think they block Skype calls....

Or just use www.captaintrain.com instead. Same prices as Renfe but no payment problems, which renfe.com is notorious for.

I had trouble using my Visa to purchase tickets for sites in Barcelona yesterday. Turns out the bank blocked it thinking it was fraudulent Called the number on the Visa card and then had no problem
Be sure to notify your credit card when you go overseas so no problems.
