Renata Tebaldi has left us
 

Sad note on the news. Renata Tebaldi died today in San Marino at age 82.

Those of you who follow opera know who she was.

I didn't realize she was still alive. (I wish I'd been paying more attention to who is/isn't alive.) I'm not particularly knowledgeable about music, but, among female opera singers, I always especially loved her.

She was always one of my favorites. I studied opera for many years and she was a huge role model to me. Her Butterfly is still my favorite. The angels will enjoy her voice Im sure! God bless!!!
