Rome is obviously world famous for its many Piazzas and thier fountains, palaces, monuments and venues for people watching.

Visit the Piazza del Collegio Romano, which hosts one of Rome's best high schools, a building that dates from the 16th century.

Piazza Esedra IS Piazza della Repubblica. Two names for the same Piazza.
Piazza Vittorio is an ugly piazza that has nothing really interesting to be seen, being only a cheapish market place. Really to be put out of the artistic places!

Piazza Vittorio is famous also for his numerous cats.. Old ancient Roman ruins are in the middle of the piazza, and the ruins are the habitations of a large numbers of stray cats.. Every day little old ladies bring food to them..So in a way, the Piazza does have a lot of charm, also the market is quite large and you can find everything from fish to veggies, clothes, etc..., try it if you can...

I LIVE near Rome, so I know Piazza Vittorio very very well since I was a child. I went to see the veggie and clothes market there too...and I caught a gypsy with her hand in my bag too. In early morning furthermore the arcades smell of pee in a terrible way (homeless sleep under tha arcades). It is not charming apart from the stray cats that you can easily find at the Colusseum and at the Forum's villa.
And I find the ruins near Largo Argentina far more interesting that the ones in Piazza Vittorio. IMO.
