We stayed at RC four times because we really enjoyed its staff, small-scale feel, and fine location, just a few blocks behind blvd St. Germaine. If we were going back to Paris any time soon, I'd probably go elsewhere because we did have uneven room assignments, and the hotel's gotten incredibly expensive.

As you can see from the last poster, not everyone feels the way I do about bringing kids there.

We've stayed at the Fleurie and I don't recall our Queen rooms being small (although it's been a while). I do remember the gorgeous marble baths, ahh.

Regardless, if my 13-yr-old niece was joining us on the trip, a second bathroom would win hands down over more public space. (How can it take one person so long to do their hair?) Also, I think at that age she'd enjoy the privacy of her own bedroom (even if it's tiny).

Good luck.

As has been mentioned, the rooms at the Relais Christine vary widely. That being said, the time we booked a deluxe room it was very large...I do not remember the room number, but you could put a cot in there comfortably. However, I tend to agree with the poster that told you to opt for two rooms at the Fleurie. I know nothing about the Hotel Fleurie and I love the Relais Christine, but if I was travleing with my daughter, I would always choose to get two rooms even if small ones as you would have two bathrooms and a some privacy for her and for you. Just another opinion.

We took the Mother-in-Law with us to Paris a couple of years ago and stayed at the Hotel de Fleurie in the Family room. It was one normal ( by Paris standards ) room and one smaller one. The two rooms had a common hallway which could be closed off to the main hallway to give the effect of a suite. Both were very nice with individual baths, which was very good.

Staff is efficient and helpful . . the location is good.

Hope this is helpful . .
