Regency Hotel London on Queens Gate in South Kensington?

I can get a pretty good deal on this hotel. Has anyone stayed there? Reviews are mixed on other travel sites, but it is at least 50 bucks a night cheaper than anywhere else in the area. That $300 could come in handy to buy two or three martinis in London. Thanks.

Tom, we walked by there at least once a day during our week in London in February. I would vouch for the location as being great, but can't say more as we didn't go inside.

Thanks tl. You know what they say. Location. Location. Location. We never spend much time in the room anyway,so unless Jack The Ripper is in the room next to us,hopefully it will be satisfactory. They have a cancellation policy in case a bunch of people come on here and tell me I'm an idiot for booking this hotel.

well, unless something changes, I have booked our rooms at Regency. Londontown had a pretty good deal.
