Fodorites without Lounge access will not be able to read the thread, just the ABC article.

A lot of people never read or watch the news apparently, so depend on Fodors for people to tell them what's going on in the world.

I can assure you that there is almost nothing of interest in the Lounge. I even forget to go there for months at a time.
