thursdayd

reading everything that you posted so far i can only think of one greek word... xenophobic.....

Whathello Jan 7th, 2016 08:45 AM

Xenophobic, racist, devoid of human sensibility.
some posters have some of those here.

Not wanting to go (again) into 'this is the first step of the road the Nazis took' I'd Like to be also a little bit provocative about 'integration' of the refugees.

Why do we consider that they should integrate themselves immediately in our society ?
When an expat from US (yes, US, let us focus on one country) comes to Europe, does he immeditaly integrate or does he stay with his friends, speak American, eat hamburgers at parties with other expats or does he, say learn french and eat froglegs with garlic.

Oh, to be quite provocative again :
number of rapes in France commited by US soldiers (not refugees, allied whose brothers in arms were dying while liberating us from ... Nazis (you got it) : 3500 (probably more since not all would have reported it)

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viol_d...n_de_la_France

number of rapes in Germany committed by US soldiers (no moreon allied soil) : 11 040

number of rapes in UK committed by US soldiers : 2040

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viol_d..._l%27Allemagne

Since nobody can claim to be pure on that subject, same source says :
Number of rapes committed by Soviets by the same source in Germany : about 2 Millions.
Number of rapes committed by French by the same source in Germany : Several thousands.

So. we're talking about 200 000 refugees and we expect all of them to behave... Yes there are rotten apples among them. And yes we must do something about it.
But blame it all on the 'refugees' ?

Bon, ok for today.

Name calling is a number of things, but a good argument is not one of them. If it is xenophobic to want to be free to walk the streets of European cities without fear of sexual assault, and without the need to wear a burkha, I imagine there are a great many xenophobes out there.

When large numbers of immigrants fail to assimilate you get the Paris banlieus. Is that what you want? In any case, whether or not incomers assimilate, they are required to obey the law. The acts in Cologne et al on NYE were illegal. (Try visiting Saudi Arabia as a woman and driving a car.)

Equating rapes in time of war or the immediate aftermath to peacetime assaults by civilians is ridiculous.

Whathello Jan 7th, 2016 11:07 AM

Of course it is ridiculous. I didn't expect anything else from you. And in a next post, in case of need, you'll say - like President Hollande btw - that we are at war.

What I meant was that even we such good people as US soldiers fighting for our liberty, you had a few rotten apples. Why is it so difficult for you to understand ?
You live in a country where there is NO rape and ALL the crime comes from refugees ? Tell me where is this nice country.

But there is no worse deaf than somebody who doesn't want to hear.

AS for namecalling, people forge themselves an opinion based on what YOU write. I forged my opinion on what you wrote about obese people.
You have the right to write what you want, we have the same right. And we have the right to think what we want about what you write.

You don't want that, you pay attention to what you write.

The information being received seems to be very confusing.

I read there were a few hundred females "sexually assaulted".. mostly groped.. and so far.. one rape , during that organized ( or seems to be ) attack on random females .

I think saying things like "thousands of women raped" is a bit inflammatory unless you are certain of your sources.. its a bit hard to believe if you just think of the logistics of that. but .. hundreds of women sexually assaulted ,, yes.. I can see that as more likely.

BTW. where does it say that these attacks were by Syrian refugees..

hetismij2 Jan 7th, 2016 11:46 AM

Canada is not taking single men. No they are leaving them here in Europe for us to deal with. Thanks.

At least Canada is taking some refugees which is more than can be said for their neighbour or many other countries that are keen to criticise but not so keen to help out.

Hi Justine.

Le Monde says 20 to 40 people of arabic or black origin hassled and beat probably hundreds of women.
90 women have complained up to now. And one rape.
Le Monde is one of the most reliable newspaper in France and is not known for succombing to marketing exxagerations.

Angela Merckel, a little bit more used to answering these kind of problems said that 'Everything must be done to identify the culprits, rapidly and totally, regardless of their past or origin' (liberally translated from the french translation of 'Le Monde'.

http://www.lemonde.fr/europe/article...2165_3214.html

Tout doit être mis en œuvre pour que les coupables soient identifiés, rapidement et complètement, sans considération de leur origine ou de leur passé
