red maps for london and paris...?

i would like to purchase these maps, but just want to know if the print is a good size. i have heard positive things about streetwise maps, as well, and then read comments that the print is too small. i wear reading glasses on occasion, but would rather not have to. okay, im vain...lol. it would just be great if i can find maps with a decent size type.

thanks!

I bought 3 Red Maps for Rome and Florence and Venice for a trip this Spring. I like them a lot. I compared them with Streetwise and a couple of other similar maps at a Barnes and Noble bookstore. The print is a little larger and they just seemed easier to read for me. They are laminated but with a matte finish instead of the shiny finish that some others have (which for me creates sort of a glare in the bright sunshine). Do you have a B & N bookstore near you that you can go to to compare maps to see which one you like best?

I have some Streetwise maps, but used Redmaps for our last trip to Paris, Florence, and Rome. They're easy to read, and they have the added benefit of listing popular sites in categories. For example, the Rome Redmap has lists for Piazzas, Churches, museums, etc. It even gives you a brief phrase explaining the significance of the place. I really enjoyed using them.
