recommended airport transfer in rome italy

I can't find a recent post that covers this: I need to get from Ciampino to my hotel (Spanish Steps)...and from the hotel to Leonardo da Vinci aiport. What is the recommended limo company? Thanks so much for your help.

Cheapest is probable www.romeshuttlelimousine.com, but taxis are set fees for the airport and are usually the same price. You just have to make sure you use an official Rome taxi. Since your hotel is at the Spanish Steps, you could easily take the metro from there to Termini (1E) and then catch the express train to the airport (11E).

thanks everyone! If the hotel were to arrange this it would be 100 euro each way. Bah!

Here's the link for taxi information from the airport website.

Six of us used Tiber Limo in July for trips in and out of Rome and to and from the Amalfi Coast. They were fantastic! Same company that NBC used to transfer their crew back and forth after the new pope was announced. Very professional, reliable, great prices.

We used Rome Shuttle Limousines. The driver from the airport was great and gave us kind of a tour on our way into Rome. I will use them again when we go back.

Jscarbary - see rubicund's post above yours. This is an ancient thread topped by a spammer.
